The Mayor of Kazan introduced the head of the Directorate of Parks and Squares

(KZN.RU, June 19, Alsu Safina). At the today’s Business Monday, Ilsur Metshin, Mayor of Kazan, introduced Alsu Karyakina as the head of the MBU “Directorate of Parks and Squares”, the new structure of the Executive Committee.

“We know her by the work in the project “Good Kazan”, in which she was engaged in a year and a half. Prior to that, Alsu worked at the Universiade Directorate for 5 years, where she was able to prove herself. She understands the specifics of working with residents and youth”, said I. Metshin.

Speaking about the need to create such a structure as the Directorate of Parks and Squares, the Mayor noted that 53 parks and squares have been modernized or recreated in Kazan in recent years. They have become favorite places for recreation and leisure activities for Kazan citizens and guests. “It is important to fill the parks and squares with content, involving the best creative forces of Kazan and our neighbors in this process”, said I. Metshin. “The most important thing is that the residents themselves are involved in this work. They are very active”. According to the Mayor, this is partly confirmed by the project “Zhiznelub” for the older generation is pleased to participate in all events, held in the city.
