June 7). Today Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of Tatarstan, visited the
construction site of the underground parking in front of the National Cultural
Center “Kazan”. He was accompanied during the inspection of the territory by
Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, Natalia Fishman, the assistant to the
President of the RT, Tatiana Prokofieva, the chief architect of Kazan, and
others.
The
construction of underground 4-level parking in Pushkin Street was started in
September 2016. The customer of the facility is the OAO “TAIF”, and the
designer is the GUP “Tatinvestgrazhdanproekt”. Completion of work is planned
for June 2018, and the work is carried out according to the schedule. Rustam
Minnikhanov was reported about the current situation at the facility.
During the
inspection of the site, Rustam Minnikhanov was told about the improvement of
the underground parking area. Albert Shigabutdinov, the general director of the
OAO “TAIF”, gave explanations.
Then the
President of Tatarstan and his entourage went to the Fuksovsky Garden, located
close to the Kazanka River at the slope on the left bank. The Fuksovsky Garden
was solemnly opened in Kazan in May 1896. Rustam Minnikhanov proposed to
prepare a thoughtful conceptual solution that would allow connecting this site
with the Kremlin Embankment and the territory of the NCC “Kazan”, reports the
