13 Kazan schools joined the federal project “Russian Network Of Health Schools”

(KZN.RU, May 19, Alsu Safina). Projects "Healthy School", "Cozy Home" and "Heirs of the Great Victory" were discussed today at the political council meeting of the local branch of the United Russia party under the chairmanship of the secretary of the department, the Mayor of Kazan, Ilsur Metshin.

Of 35 members of the local political council, 29 people attended the meeting. Central agenda was the municipal party projects "Healthy School", "Cozy House" and "Heirs of the Great Victory. Natalia Grechannikova, head of the executive committee of the local branch of the party "United Russia" reminded that in Tatarstan there are 21 federal, 5 regional and 30 municipal party projects.

The Cozy House LLC CEO reported that more than 1 thousand employees and specialists of management companies were trained on the courses "Master of Housing", "Plumber", "Yardman", "Skills of conflict-free communication."

A series of lessons for high school students have started in April. To date, more than 500 students have been provided with housing lessons aimed to improve the housing knowledge of Kazan schoolchildren.

Ilsur Metshin emphasized that a lot of work has been done, nevertheless, a lot remains to be done. “We hope that Kazan will become an example for the housing and communal services of the republic and neighboring cities of the Volga Federal District,” - he said.

The "Healthy School" project has been implementing in Kazan since September last year. Rafael Shavaliev, chief doctor of the Children's Republican Clinical told about the importance of adopting healthy lifestyle since school and quoted the data of the Children's Health Center of the Ministry of Health of Russia. According to these data, only 14% of Russian children are practically healthy, more than 50% have different functional abnormalities, 35-40% - chronic diseases. "Healthy School" project holds thematic lectures for students, parents and teachers about healthy lifestyle. To date, the project has been implemented in 7 schools and lyceums of the city of Privolzhsky district and two institutions of the Soviet district.

The project is going to be developed within federal project “The Russian Network Of Health Schools,” - he added. According to him, in Tatarstan this federal project started in December last year. 13 Kazan schools has already been registered as participants in this project, its goal is to preserve and improve the health of students, increase their academic achievement, and spiritual and physical education.

Ilsur Hadiullin the head of the Education Department reported about the progress of another municipal project - "Heirs of the Great Victory". The project started this year with a volunteer charity fair dedicated to the 72nd anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.

On May 9th this year the 16 best military units of the city ltook part in a parade near the memorial complex in Victory Park, Cadets of School No. 67 did performances. I. Hadiullin also said that in May the Kazan schools took up the Memory Watch.

I. Metshin noted that the project "Heirs of the Great Victory" is supported by all members of the local branch of the party. “We participate in these events with the feeling of awe, trepidation and respect. We must continue and develop this work,” - the head of the city said.
