300 young Kazan football players will get a training base
(KZN.RU, May 15, Alsou Safina). A football field with an artificial turf for sport school “Savinovo” on Gavrilov Streeet is under construction.
After the venue is finished, 300 pupils of the sport school will have a training base. The chairman of Committee of physical culture and sports Svetlana Vostrikova reported about it on Business Monday today.
“Even
after the Universiade, having constructed such large number of sporting venues,
we didn't stop,” - the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin said. The construction
of the new football field in Novo-Savinovsky district of the city will be near
the ice arena "Golden puck". The mayor noted that in the capital of Tatarstan
it is a systematic work that leads to construction of the universal sports venues
for the citizens of Kazan to have an
opportunity to play sports at their place of residence.
