Traffic restrictions will take place on several streets on May, 17th in Kazan
(KZN.RU, May 15, Mikhail Chentsov). Due to Kazan city holding a trial Rubin – CSKA match for FIFA Confederations Cup Russia 2017, on May, 17th there will be traffic restrictions on several streets. Roman Ivachev, City Hall of Kazan offical, head of Sports Projects Department clarified the details at the Executive committee staff meeting.
According to R.Ivachev, restrictions will take place from 5:30 p.m. till 11:30 p.m. (2 hours prior to the match and 2 hours after it ends).
The mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin assigned the heads of departments of Executive committee to provide timely notifications for citizens. “It is necessary to make sure that football fans, neighborhood residents, those who use personal vehicles are notified beforehand whether it will be possible for them to take particular roads. The restrictions are insignificant, but they will take place,” - the Mayor said.
