(KZN.RU, April 20). Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, met with Yuri Korchagin, the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Russia to Spain. The head of the Tatarstan’s capital was invited to a business reception at the Embassy, located in Madrid. The meeting of the Executive Bureau of the World Organization “United Cities and Local Government” was held in the capital of Spain these days.
During the official reception, Yuri Korchagin told the Mayor of Kazan about the activities of the Russian Embassy in Spain and interaction with Russian compatriots, as well as how Tatarstan and its capital are positioned in this European country. Ilsur Metshin thanked the embassy for the cordial welcome, noting that Kazan is also always happy to receive guests. The parties showed their readiness for cooperation and exchanged memorable gifts at the end of the meeting.
