The meeting of Ilsur Metshin with Manuela Carmena Castrillo, the Mayor of Madrid, was held today during the work of the Executive Bureau of the United Cities and Local Government (UCLG). The heads of the cities discussed the prospects for cooperation and reached an agreement on cooperation in the field of tourism and culture.
Present at the meeting, Evgenia Lodvigova, the vice-mayor of Kazan, noted that the conversation took place in a friendly atmosphere. Ilsur Metshin and Manuela Carmena Castrillo discussed the development of megacities, as well as possible areas of cooperation between Madrid and Kazan.
