Artur Valiakhmetov headed the Committee for Economic Development of Kazan
(KZN.RU, November 14, Alsu Safina). Artur Valiakhmetov appointed as the chairman of the Committee for Economic Development. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, said this today at the Business Monday. Earlier, Artur Valiakhmetov served as deputy chairman of the Committee for Economic Development.
The Mayor of Kazan said that Ildar Shakirov, the former head of the Committee, became the first deputy head of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts administration.
The Mayor also noted that A. Valiakhmetov worked in various fields. “Despite his young age, he already has a good experience in a number of commercial banks. Then he took with us a step of preparation and holding of the World Student Games in the Universiade Directorate. The last two years he worked as deputy chairman of the Committee. He knows his job”, said Ilsur Metshin and wished him success.
