Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, visited the gymnasium №4 with Tatar language instruction of the Kirovsky district today, where the opening of the final part of the game “300” took place in the renovated gym with symbols of the Kazan football club “Rubin’. According to the Mayor, this project aims to promote football, which is considered the main game not only in our country but also in the world.

Place to start of the finals was chosen not by chance: the gymnasium №4 was among the winners of the contest “The most football class”, which was held this year. Gymnasium students became active participants in the contest and entered the top five on the results of visit of last season matches.

The tournament in the game “300” began in September and was held in three age groups. 40 gates, decorated in “Rubin” style, have been established for this in the yards and schools. Qualifying took place in every district of ​​the city from September 3 to October 3, 335 teams - more than 1,000 people - have taken part in them. Fastest game took only 38 seconds, and the longest lasted for 1 hour and 3 minutes. 24 teams reached the final competition stage of the game “300”. All finalists received “Rubin” diaries as a gift.

“I am happy in such a beautiful day of the golden autumn to attend the finals of the tournament, which we have decided to revive under the popularization of football”, said the head of the city.

The Mayor of Kazan noted that professionals, amateurs, children and veterans play football. “The game “300” is a kind of football, when you cannot put together a team, but have a great desire to play your favorite game, and the territory is not always adapted to this. We really want to everyone play football in every school and yard”, said Ilsur Metshin.

He also thanked Delyus Sirazetdinov, the deputy of the Kazan City Duma, who helped with the renovation of the sports hall at school. “Our dream is to have more such halls”, said the Mayor.

Ilhaniya Vakhitova, the school director, addressed to the governor of the city with a request to repair a sports hall in the early summer. Then the Mayor of Kazan assessed the results of the overhaul, which was held in the school. Entrance lobby, facade, roof, bathrooms, system of hot and cold water supply, sewerage, doors, and fencing have been updated in the gymnasium. Now the gym is not only restored, but also decorated in the style of the FC “Rubin” to the delight of students. The cost of work was 1.5 million rubles. Contractor was the OOO “Karen”.

“May the best man win”, Ilsur Metshin said to finalists. “There will be no losers here, because football and your desire to play this wonderful game will win”.

After that Ilsur Metshin made the first symbolic strike. Stas Kuzmin, the goalkeeper of the Kirovsky district, caught the ball.
