Ilsur Metshin take part in the Conference of transit cities in Barcelona
(Kazan city, KZN.RU, July 15). Ilsur Metshin, Mayor of Kazan, President of the Eurasian section of UCLG, and co-president of the organization, participates in a number of meetings with representatives of European municipalities to discuss the future of the World Organization “United Cities and Local Governments”.
Meetings are held in Barcelona as part of the Conference of transit cities on migration issues. Leaders of local government, representatives of the UN and major international public organizations take part in the conference.
Provision of expertise and exchange of best practices in the prevention and elimination of the negative migration consequences is one of the main tasks of the organization.
