Ilsur Metshin: "Good Fair" stepped outside Kazan schools"

Today at the Gorky Park the grand charity fair with the participation of 32 schools of Kazan gathered about 15 thousand people: younger students and their parents, high school students, principals and teachers, as well as the citizens who came with their family to the Saturday walk in the park. The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin participated in the "Good Fair". Mayor bought souvenirs and children's crafts, tasted the sweets prepared by students, as well as made several memorable shots with them.

Large-scale action unfolded throughout the park - along the walkways in the central alley and green field trade rows were arranged. Everything your heart desires could be bought in the tents and wooden huts: the residents lined up to try the sweets, play games, take pictures on the background of colorful installations.

Real feast with songs, dances and athletic exercises was organized for visitors to the fair. "Today there are a lot of people. So many people were led to us, perhaps, by realization that they can make a good thing, not only to enjoy the holiday, but also to help children in need. The fair has many recreational areas: concert hall, area with master classes, a food court, where you can buy sweets made by pupils and their parents, as well as production of sponsor restaurants, there are handmade area with crafts that children prepared at home within 2-3 months. In total the fair is attended by 32 schools,"- one of the organizers of the fair Alia Metshina said. According to preliminary estimates, the "Good Fair" was attended by about 15 thousand - 10 thousand students and 5 thousand citizens that have visited the park to take a walk and take part in the action.

Ilsur Metshin along with other participants of the fair - students, parents and teachers - walked around the mall. In the area of ​​food court Mayor tried dishes prepared by guys. Ilsur Metshin also bought wicker pictures, children's books and handmade souvenirs. Kazan Mayor praised the work of the children and thanked them for active participation in the fair, noting that their activities are helping other children. "I am very pleased that the "Good Fair" stepped outside schools and districts. It is important that we raise and educate children in this way, instilling awareness that they can help other children. Amount of aid is not important, whether it is material means or just a kind word. As Mayor and as a father I want to Kazan was a kind city. It is important that the warmth from the child care has been with us always, not only during these fairs, but also in everyday life,"- the Mayor of Kazan shared his impressions. The Mayor thanked the organizers for holding fairs and children, teachers and parents - for their active participation in the event.

Recall, the first charity fair was held in the school gymnasium №19 in the "Sabantuy" format in 2014. Then the event was visited by about 5 thousand people. As the result 550 thousand rubles has been collected that the guys gave to Anzhela Vavilova Fund. At these funds one room in the Children's Hospice of Kazan was fully equipped. In December 2014 the students organized the "New Fair of Good", which allowed collecting 265 thousand rubles for the purchase of gifts for the rehabilitation center "April" and Derbyshki orphanage. Since then, the fairs have become regular charity, and are held every six months. The third action has allowed collecting the amount of 1 million rubles, all funds have been sent to Anzhela Vavilova Fund. Due to the fourth action 570 thousand rubles were managed to collect, which were used to purchase New Year gifts for children from low-income families.
