Ilsur Metshin took part in the Student march of Victory
(Kazan City KZN.RU, April 30) in the Kazan at Kremlevskaya street Student Victory march in honor of the 71st anniversary of the Great Patriotic War Victory was held. It was attended by Mayor of Tatarstan's capital Ilsur Metshin.
The action started with laying flowers at the monument to the Hero of the Soviet Union, the Tatar writer Musa Jalil. Ilsur Metshin, along with the Deputy Prime Minister of Tatarstan Vasil Shayhraziev and rector of Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov, war veterans and students of Kazan Federal University commemorated the great poet.
After the ceremony the procession of students, teachers and university graduates, "Honorary Battalion of KFU", platoon representatives of federal universities took place. The march was at Kremlevskaya street to the main building of Kazan Federal University. The march was also attended by First Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the city Damir Fattakhov, heads of ministries and departments of the republic.
Also today in the framework of the action a meeting of the university community and the gala concert of the festival "Student Spring 2016" will take place.
