I. Metshin: "We would like to see new faces"
(Kazan City KZN.RU, April 30, Zilya Gayfi). Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin at today's Business Monday in the City Hall proposed to hold an open competition for the position of chairman of the Committee on Children and Youth of Executive Committee. He invited active citizens, able to generate and implement ideas in the sphere of youth policy of the city, to participate in the contest.
Recall, after the appointment of Sergei Mironov as a head of the administration of Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts chair of the Committee remains vacant. "Kazan is a student city, which won the right to host the Universiade 2013, Championship FINA 2015, FIFA World Cup 2018. We are proud to say that, in spite of the thousand-year history, Kazan is the city of the young. We have more than 150 thousand students, so the work with young people is very important. We invite all concerned, active, young and older people who want to lead this direction of the city. Of course, they will need to prove their worth, to show their vision of how youth policy should be implemented in Kazan. We have a talent pool, colleagues from the district administrations, ministries and relevant agencies, businesses and universities. We would like to see new faces,"- the Mayor said.
Ilsur Metshin instructed the head of the Executive Committee Denis Kalinkin to prepare the terms of the tender, which in the future will be posted on the official website of the Mayor’s Office.
