Today more than two thousand houses are equipped with such units, whose residents have saved more than 2 billion rubles for heat consumption for over 5 years. One of the houses at st. Chernomorskaya in the Moskovsky district of ​​the city, where the weather units are set, was visited by the Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin.

The automatic thermal regulation unit was installed in the basement of the house №11 at st. Chernomorskaya in 2015. According to director of MUE "Kazan energy service center" Eugeni Chekashov, after installation heat consumption decreased significantly. "In past years the consumption of heat in the house was an average of 858 Gcal, it dropped to 499 Gcal after unit installation. The difference is 359 Gcal, in terms of the money it amounted to 539 thousand rubles, which the residents of this house saved, taking in account that the node itself is worth 400 thousand rubles. During the first year of the work of site residents have saved huge money. At the end of the heating season, we expect the savings in heat consumption at one-bedroom apartment will be approximately 4 thousand rubles, two-bedroom - 6000, with two-bedroom - 8000 rubles", - Eugeni Chekashov said.

Ilsur Metshin pointed out that the effect of the program Kazan residents feel especially. "These figures motivate to carry out the program boldly. In addition to budgetary savings, our residents saved a lot of money at the heat,"- the Mayor said.

As noted by Eugeni Chekashov, such impressive results can be observed not only in one house, but in all residential buildings, in which heating equipment is installed. "We started this work in 2006 with a figure of 5%, today 55% of the housing stock is equipped with the weather control units - is more than 2 million houses. For 5 years consumption of heat in these houses decreased by 1 million 800 Gcal, i.e. residents saved more than 2 billion rubles. In addition, the largest regional dispatching system at 4,5 thousand points for the monthly collection of information was created. According to this index, Kazan is ahead of all megacities"- Eugeni Chekashov said.

According to the chairman of the Committee of housing and communal services Iskander Giniyatullin, in addition to saving the weather control units provide much more comfortable living conditions. "In fact, we see the improvement of the quality of public services. Most effectively the system works in the transitional period when the heating season ends. We are gradually moving away from the "melt down", and provide the optimum temperature in the apartment", - Iskander Giniyatullin said.

Today four-year program for installation of weather control units in houses of Kazan is designed. This year it is planned to maintain the momentum. In total the program provides installation of 1640 units in 2030 existing nodes. According to Eugeni Chekashov, "Kazan energy service center" is in search of new engineering solutions aimed at to reduce the cost of installation of the unit and the payback period of the equipment.

Automatic weather control unit was installed in the basement of the house №11 at st. Chernomorskaya in the course of a range of works - major repairs and improvement of yard area. "Previously a big empty lot was in place of the playground, and broken asphalt was in the yard. In the past year we have repaired the house and installed nodes of weather control, expanded and paved the driveways, and made the park with new trees instead of a wasteland area. We are grateful to the Mayor of the city and the district administration, as well as the management company and the contractors for the work,"- a senior of the house Rustem Baev said.

Opening of a large playground was a welcome event not only for the residents of the house, but also for the entire neighborhood.

Immediately after the opening of modern playground students of a nearby school №34 chosen it as a place for free time. "It's great that there is such a yard.
