Scheme of objects of small retail trade is extended by six underpasses in Kazan

(Kazan City KZN.RU, February 18). This year the scheme of objects of small retail network in Kazan will be expanded through the use of trading places in the underground passages and transitions to the metro stations. At the first stage it is planned to use 6 transitions in different areas of the city. Their preparation for the installation of trading pavilions has already begun. Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin inspected the territory designated under the trade pavilions. The deputy head of Kazan Executive Committee for Economic Development Ivan Kuznetsov reported about details of plans to expand small retail network.

In Kazan the work to bring the retail trade objects to a single style continues. In this work the capital of Tatarstan focuses on the experience of the leading European cities. To date standard designs of placement of objects of small retail network has already been developed and approved. But if earlier their placement was expected in the streets, now they are planned to be brought to a common appearance in the underground passages.

In total there are 60 passages in Kazan, including 36 underground. Trade outlets designated under the placement will be provided to be leased to entrepreneurs.

Mayor studied plan of building the underpass at ave.Amirhana - ave.Yamasheva, where placement of 52 commercial properties is planned. According to experts, the pavilions will not create any inconvenience for the residents, on the contrary - Kazan residents will be able to buy the necessary goods on the way home, and due to the high traffic project is economically beneficial to entrepreneurs. The Mayor also visited the transitions to the metro stations "Goat Sloboda", where 20 retail properties are planned to be installed, and "Square of Tukai". Layout of shopping facilities in the transitions to the subway stations is designed to suit the characteristics of each station. I. Metshin noted that for the successful implementation of the project it is necessary to study the needs of local residents and provide them with the most comfortable environment.

Entrepreneurs will receive the right of placement of non-stationary trade objects on the results of the auctions for the sale of rights to placement of non-stationary trade objects, according to the Decision of the Executive Committee of the city "On the order of placement of non-stationary trade objects in Kazan underground pedestrian crossings". Before operating, commercial property will be assessed by control and acceptance committee, composed of representatives of the consumer market, of the Committee of improvements and the Committee of Land and Property Relations. For the inspection of non-stationary object of trade the entrepreneur must appropriate send apply to the control and acceptance committee.

The examination of underpasses was also attended by the head of the Executive Committee Denis Kalinkin, the first deputy head of the municipality of the city Rustam Nigmatullin, head of administration and Aviastroitelny and New Savinovsky districts Timur Alibaev and head of the administration of the Kirovsky and Moskovsky districts Damir Fattakhov.
