I. Metshin instructed to develop a strategy for socio-economic development of Kazan to 2030

(Kazan City KZN.RU, January 27б Zilya Gayfi). In Kazan in the near future working out of a strategy for socio-economic development of the city until 2030 will begin. Mayor Ilsur Metshin instructed to create a working group to include the experts, deputies, representatives of business, public organizations and youth communities. The decision was announced today at a meeting on the results of the economic block of the Executive Committee. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Executive Committee Denis Kalinkin, Deputy Head of the Executive Committee for Economic Development Ivan Kuznetsov, Chief of Staff Ihor Sivov and Head of Finance Department Radik Shafigullin.

Organizing committee, which will include the heads of the departments of the Executive Committee, representatives of enterprises and organizations, the public and the media, youth organizations, the scientific community and the deputies, will be created to work on the document. "The strategy of development of the city is a serious document that should answer the main question: how Kazan is expected to grow over the next 15 years. This is a great time. We must set ourselves an overestimated level to strive to fulfill the most ambitious goals", - Mayor Ilsur Metshin stressed the importance of the project.

The program of socio-economic development in the next five years will be the continuation of the city development strategy up to 2030. The document will consist of logically linked municipal programs of development of branches of the city economy. According to Ildar Shakirov, a comprehensive approach will enable the city to implement projects effectively.
