Ilsur Metshin will take part in the opening of "Yeltsin Center" in Ekaterinburg
(Kazan City KZN.RU, November 25). Today in Yekaterinburg the opening of center of Russia's first President Boris Yeltsin (Yeltsin Center) will be held. The sphere of interests of the Center includes support for educational, scientific research, charitable and cultural projects. Mayor Ilsur Metshin will participate at the opening of the institution.
The initiator of the opening of the Center is the Foundation "Boris Yeltsin Presidential Center" (Yeltsin Center). This non-profit organization named after the first president of Russia, was founded in 2000. The main objective of the fund is the preservation, study and understanding of heritage of policies in the context of the events of 90-ies. As reported at the web-site of the establishment, the center was conceived as a socio-political organization that promotes the construction of the rule of law, study and development of the institute of presidency in Russia.
Under the roof of the "Yeltsin Center" will be a library, archive, educational and children's center and a unique museum, in the establishment of which modern multimedia technology were used.
