(Kazan City
KZN.RU, November 9). In the near future it is planned to update 5600 old energy-intensive
lamps on the new LED in Kazan. Savings from these measures will amount to 2.7
million of KWh, or 13.6 million rubles per year at the current rate. This was
announced today at the Business Monday by the director of MUE
"Kazgorsvet" Rustam Abdulhakov.
According
to him, to date 77,268 light points are on the balance of the city. Over the
past five years their number increased by 15,109 units, accounting for 19% of
the total. At the same time, the length of lines of outdoor lighting increased
by 456 km and is 3271 km today.
Also 6047
light points with individual connection and consumption of installed capacity
are on the balance of the city. All of them are in the settlements.
In total,
starting in 2010, more than 1.4 billion rubles were sent to the construction
and reconstruction of outdoor lighting networks in Kazan.
This year
in Kazan increase of the coverage of the network of external illumination has been
continued.
In the year
parks and gardens networkers paid special attention to reconstructed public
areas Kazan. The employees of “Kazgorsvet” reconstructed line of outdoor
lighting in Victory Park, "Wings of the Soviets", ”Continent”, Aksyonov parks, park in the Sovietskaya square,
Veterans alley. Different configurations of lampposts and forms of lighting were
chosen in each recreational areas according to the concept of the project.
According
to the director of MUE "Kazgorsvet", it is necessary to implement
energy efficiency and conservation technologies actively in Kazan. Thus, the
power consumption of outdoor lighting networks in 2014 amounted to 45 million
KW and estimated consumption of this year is 53 million KW. The priority is to
complete the transition of the city with automated control system. Mayor Ilsur
Metshin noted that the capital of Tatarstan has some things to strive for to
become the city of light.
The Mayor
drew attention to the lighting of urban settlements. If in Kazan question of the
lighting is practically solved, in the settlements need for this is still quite
large. "To date more than 200 million rubles per year are spent for the
lighting from the city budget. If in the city there are no big complaints on outdoor
lighting, in the settlements the problem still exists. Yes, in our settlements
there are fewer complaints about water and garbage disposal, but outdoor
lighting is an area where we still have a lot of work. We will raise funds to
lighting in the settlements were not worse than in the streets of the city,
