Ilsur Metshin nominated for the post of the head of the municipality of Kazan

 (Kazan City KZN.RU, September 18, Albert Murtazin). Ilsur Metshin’s candidacy is nominated for the post of the head of the municipality of the city of Kazan. This decision was taken at the XXIV Conference of the Kazan local branch of the political party "United Russia". Its third stage was held today at the NCC "Kazan".

The conference was attended by members of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan City Duma from the party “United Russia”. Delegates discussed several issues, including the summing up of the election campaign and nomination for the post of the head of the municipality of the city of Kazan.

The head of the municipality shall be elected among the deputies of Kazan City Duma. 3 candidates were nominated: incumbent Mayor Ilsur Metshin, Director of Management Company "Just milk" "Kazan Milk Plant" Marat Kagarmanov and the bankruptcy trustee of "Vamin-Tatarstan" Sergey Kondratyev. As a result of the secret ballot Ilsur Metshin was chosen the candidate of the party "United Russia" - 227 delegates voted for him. Marat Kagarmanov received 10 votes, Sergey Kondratyev - 6.

Speaking about the results of the elections, Ilsur Metshin noted that much has been done, a confident, convincing victory of the party "United Russia" was achieved as the result of that. "Of course, huge work of all members of the party is behind of this" - said the Mayor.

"The elections have shown that the political preferences of residents of Kazan remain stable. It was very difficult and significant victory for us won in the complicated conditions of economic and financial turmoil. Victory would not take place without the common efforts of all members of the party, its supporters and allies, "- said the Mayor.

Ilsur Metshin also stressed that any victory provides not only new opportunities but also imposes greater responsibility for the welfare of Kazan and the fate of its inhabitants on elected deputies. "It depends on us what will be tomorrow in Kazan, in what city we, our children and our grandchildren are going to live. All of this should be taken into account in the work of the newly elected deputies of Kazan City Duma. We can achieve our goals only in a direct dialogue with residents relying on the opinion of the citizens "- said the Mayor of the capital of RT.

He recalled that the program of the party "United Russia" "My Kazan" has received a great response from Kazan residents, who supported it with their suggestions. "Thanks to the thousands of proposals of Kazan residents we know exactly what they want to see in their city, their neighborhood, their home. I am confident that the implementation of this program with the active participation of Kazan residents will make our city one of the most modern, advanced, comfortable and hospitable cities in Russia ", - said I.
