Again March snowfall made problems on streets
(KZN.RU, March 7, Renat Shirmanov). By the end of the holidays Kazan streets must be cleaned and citizens must not find difficulties during movement. Ilsur Metshin, Mayor of Kazan paid attention to it at Business Monday.
Organizations, responsible for maintenance of streets, system again had problems because of abundant snowfall fallen on Saturday-Sunday.
"Roads are cleaned badly. All around there are tracks as in the village. I understand that we could not cope with snowfall in December but now the roads are free of cars and pedestrians but you are also not there”, Ilsur Metshin criticized heads of districts. “Finally heads of districts asked to give them duties of work-givers”, the Mayor said.
Once again Ilsur Metshin reminded to begin anti-flooding actions aside from snow removal.
The Director General of MUE Metroelektrotrans said that Ploshyad Tukaya station is ready for spring flooding, Prospekt Pobedy station is cleaned out from snow fully, but Sukonnaya Sloboda station will be cleaned this week.
Summarizing, Ilsur Metshin noted once again that we should be more serious to anti-flooding actions. “Personally, I inspect all problem places”, Ilsur Metshin declared.
