(Kazan City KZN.RU, August 17, Albert Murtazin). Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin inspected quality of overhaul of yard and driveways at st.Gavrilov today. Residents of the area previously addressed to the head of the city with requests for comprehensive improvement.

Renovated driveway is located next to houses №№48, 50, 52 and 54 of st.Gavrilov. In addition, the area of yard has also been renovated. According to the head of the district administration, total cost of four yards along with roads amounted 29 million rubles. The positive effect will be felt by more than 15 thousand local residents. "Next year we have planned several repairs of yards. I think that in three years we'll cover entire quarter with repairs, "- said Timur Alibaev.

According to the contractors in the course of repairs of driveway at st.Gavrilov new asphalt surface has been applied, it has a higher strength, durability and aesthetic characteristics - asphalt surface reminiscent  caviar. The contractor ensures that such coverage will maintain its original properties for five to eight years.

Ilsur Metshin stressed that the repair was needed for a long time in this area. "When we were here on the laying of the first stone of the Ice Palace, people approached us with a request to repair yards. Coverage of more than 15 thousand residents is a very good figure. Speaking of landscaping of yards, Mayor of Kazan drew his colleagues' attention to the bright flower bed located near the passage. According to Timur Alibayev, it has been equipped by a management company within the frames of the project "Blooming Kazan". Head of the district also reported that the Territorial public self-government "Savinovo" plans to plant trees close to this site. For these purposes funds from the presidential grant of more than half a million rubles will be allocated.

"There is a famous saying that "Moscow was not built in a day". We also grow up gradually – it becomes habitual for the residents that flowers grow around. Step-by-step "Blooming Kazan" should become a slogan of what we see around us - Kazan should blossom. And it is a very good example of how the program is implemented in the district", - said Ilsur Metshin.

In the current year 2.5 billion rubles were allocated for the road works in Kazan, that will allow repairing 1.5 million square meters of road surface. Yard areas of 215 houses and 25 driveways total area of ​​over 240 square meters in the amount of 500 million rubles will be repaired. In each district yard area with the largest surface and cover of at least 5 houses was identified, where comprehensive improvement will be carried out, in addition to providing of cover of asphalt concrete, children's playgrounds, sports equipment, benches will be installed, and landscaping will be done. As a result of implementation of the program since 2010 with results of the current year 1211 households will be updated, this is 40% of the total number of households requiring repair (3042).
