(KZN.RU, February 21, Elena Chembaeva). It is planned to build 244 thousand square meters of housing under the social mortgage program in Kazan.
Deputy Head of the Urban Planning Policy noted that since last year the main responsibility for construction has been given to the Municipality.
Azat Nigmatzyanov noted that under the charge of President of Tatarstan there aren’t companies with a clouded reputation, as well as fly-by-night companies.
Mayor recalled that all things connected to social mortgage deserves the closest attention of the Executive Committee of Kazan. “Social mortgage program is naturally unique, and necessary for population. We need to clarify the process of presidential program implementation, achieve its timely and quality implementation in 2011”, Ilsur Metshin considers.
“Now we have all necessary to fulfill tasks set by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. If we construct 250 thousand square meters annually so it will be enough for people on the housing waiting list and for a Young Family federal program and other federal housing programs in Kazan”, Mayor of Kazan noted.
