Ilsur Metshin met with Consul General of Iran to Kazan
(KZN.RU, Taisiya Basharkina, February 4). Today Ilsur Metshin, Mayor of Kazan has met with Reza Bagban Condori, Consul General of Iran to Kazan. Consul General completes his diplomatic mission in Kazan and returnes to Iran.
We should note that Mr. Condori has been the Consul of Iran to Kazan since November 2007. He has headed the diplomatic office of the Consulate General of Iran in Kazan for over three years.
The Iranian diplomat thanked the Mayor of Kazan for the hospitality and noted that Kazan became a sports pole, and a place for various events of international significance. "During my staying here I saw that the city became better and more beautiful", the Iranian diplomat noted.
At the moment under the support from Iran there is a branch of the Russian-Iranian Society at KFU, the Iranian studies center at TSPU and the Institute of History n. a. Sh. Mardzhani of the AS RT; also filmmakers from Iran take an active part in the Golden Minbar international festival, Iranian students study in Kazan universities.
