Expert-Plant is intended to bring Kazan to a new level

(KZN.RU, October 22). Lives of Kazan citizens will be improved by their own means. Such an object faces participants of the Expert-Plant project.

Many issues affected citizens escape the officials’ attention. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan also recognizes it. "Towards the development of Kazan any issues constantly come to the force. Now an ambitious project for us is a successful organization of the Universiade-2013. While solving the problems we are moving forward, meet new challenges so we can not always have an opportunity to trace the dynamics of development that we have already achieved", the Mayor of the city said today at the first meeting of the Expert-Plant.

Expert-Plant is a project supported by the City Hall of Kazan and designed to inform the leadership about new ideas coming from active citizens. Thus the city administration has taken a step toward improving the lives of Kazan citizens with their own means. The Expert board of 30 persons will express the position of the population and take part in the development of the city.

"Many of our ideas are reproduced for the first time not only in the region but in the country that implies itself a lack of experience in these areas. You are as close as possible to the people so we highly appreciate your opinion. We will jointly strive to make Kazan better", Ilsur Metshin turned to the crowd.

There are students, businesspeople, teachers in the Expert Plant group. The singularity of the project is in minds who are not guided by the bureaucratic approach.

To get to the cherished thirty, the project participants had to undergo three stages of selection. Before starting the first round the organizers got a little more than 540 applications, the best of which have been selected. The evaluation has been conducted under the following criteria: activity, adequacy, team work focused.

In the second round there were 182 participants who were invited to make a decision on solving business case for creating a single information portal for residents and tourists on the eve of the Universiade.

57 people were admitted to the final stage that is a business game, 30 of which coped with the test successfully and became a part of the Expert-Plant.

The first meeting of "experts" has been held today and appeared the identification of the main aims of the "factory" in collaboration with the Mayor.
