At Saturday more than 1500 of staff of the Executive committee of Kazan, the city`s deputies and workers of the Kazan City Duma took an active part in the citywide clean-up. At their workplaces were only officers on duty.
Employees of the Executive committee of the city cleaned parks Gorky, Black Lake and public garden of K.Tinchurin. Deputies by the tradition established order on the territory of the Kazan zoobotanical garden. Employees of district administrations were cleaning the buildings adjacent to their territory and regional parks and public gardens. Today in every garden, park and adjacent to office buildings and businesses territories hard work on cleaning of accumulated rubbish was in full swing. For example, in Gorky Park in the clean-up headed by Rafis Burganov were involved in nearly 600 of staff members of the Executive committee of Kazan, who removed 6 dumpers of garbage.
"The past winter stay in our memory with its heavy snowfalls. Even today in secluded corners of parks and gardens, courtyards is snow. We will cleaned up the places where the snow has melted. And those territories, where snow still remains or has accumulated huge puddles, we can clean a bit later. We can say that this year`s clean up involved more people than in the last year. Today the weather, good mood of colleagues and friends makes us glad"- praised the progress of clean up director of the Executive committee of Kazan Rafis Burganov.
Last year the city cleaning during the month was attended by more than 50 thousand people. This year the number of participants is much greater. Work of housing services in arranging yards was organized also. Cleaning of gardens, parks and other green areas was conducted on the total area of nearly 1000 hectares.
To export the collected rubbish from the urban area was organized an intense regime of landfulls of solid waste and bulky waste. In the days of Saturday community work day from the city to landfills leaves 2-3 times more rubbish than on ordinary days.
