I.Metshin on the construction of the subway in Kazan

For 15 years, the number of cars in Kazan has increased from 135 thousand to 450 thousand. Therefore, one of the key task is the development of public transport, including the construction of the subway.

Any large-scale construction is challenging. As a result, residents will get the most convenient transport. Now it is impossible to imagine Kazan without 11 metro stations, so it is important to continue this work.

We thank Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov for supporting and financing this important program all these years. Moreover, just recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that the federal government is ready to support the construction of the subway in just a few Russian cities. We hope that the Kazan subway will receive a further development. We are ready for this; there is the agreed project, as well as a great experienced team. There is everything to ensure the continuation of the program.
