I. Metshin about the polycentric development of Kazan

2018 showed that we are polycentric in the development of the city. That is, everything happens not just in the center and on the main streets. Much work has been done in remote areas, suburbs, settlements. Houses, social facilities, and roads were repaired, new houses of culture were repaired or opened, and public spaces were created. We create conditions so that people, living in the capital, feel themselves in the capital regardless of where they actually live.

We have only one the Opera Theater, one Philharmonia and the Conservatory, of course. But the conditions for sports or creativity, for example, should be created at the place of residence. Today we are making such conditions thanks to the support of our President, the Government, and the unique republican programs that operate only in Tatarstan.
