work to develop a new scheme for the urban passenger transport network. It is a
continuation of the fact that we started the first in Russia, implementing a
pilot project, when the gazelles and PAZs were being removed from the roads.

the economy of our republic and the city. But for today, we understand that the
subsidies of 4.5 billion a year, which are required to maintain the quality
work of public transport, will not be given to us yet. Also, we cannot raise
the tariff to 49 rubles in order to have an ideal public transport. We need to
look for other ways. Motorization is increasing, the number of cars in yards is
increasing. We already need to seriously think about what public transport will
be after 2020.
I am sure
that there is an acceptable option. Until recently, it was unrealistic for
Kazan to subsidize the repair of the roadway at 5.5-6 billion rubles. Today the
capital of Tatarstan has the opportunity to receive these funds and improve the
condition of roads for the second year in a row.
and safe public transport is an indicator of the city and the region’s strength.
Public transport is a key point of urban development, which needs to be given
constant attention, we need to attract the best professionals to it. It is
necessary to do the great work, and the first stage we already have done. Now
we have a detailed study on each route for the future.
