Cirque du Soleil to be featured in 2013 Universiade Culture Park
(KZN.RU, February 4) A unique street show presented by the world-renowned Cirque du Soleil will be held in the Culture Park on the occasion of the 27th World Summer Universiade of 2013 in Kazan, which will be a boon for the participants and spectators of the Games. This was announced by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin at Business Monday.
According to Ilsur Metshin, the Cirque du Soleil street show will be created especially for Kazan, which will be second after Quebec City, where circus street shows are held. Admission to the show will be by the Universiade sporting event tickets.
The Culture Park will be laid out on the waterfront, in front of Kazan's Farmers Palace. It will include a food court, samples of traditional architecture, Universiade partners' exhibits and performing stages.
