Summer “Architectural Dialogues” will take place in Kazan at the end of June

Summer “Architectural
Dialogues” will take place in Kazan from June 30 to July 1. The issues of
linking the river infrastructure to outdoor recreation, individual housing
construction and the illumination of the city will be discussed there. The project is
organized by the Institute of City Development with the support of the
Department of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Executive Committee of
Kazan. The chief architect of the city
Ilsiyar Tukhvatullina announced this today at the Business Monday in the
Executive Committee.
The Mayor of
Kazan Ilsur Metshin noted the importance of productive engagement with the city
community, this approach should be adopted by all city departments. “Dialogue and constant communication
change the city and make it better. It is necessary to involve a professional
design community and residents,”- the Mayor said.
I.Tukhvatullina
reminded that the first “Architectural Dialogues” were held in the spring, the
participants discussed BIM technologies for design and construction in the
context of import substitution. While experts from other cities of Russia and
representatives of the DOM.RF financial institute will be engaged in the events
of the summer season. They will discuss standard residential housing projects
with Kazan residents and share the methodology for developing concepts of
settlements. In addition, the participants of the meetings will have to figure
out how to create architectural and artistic lighting that will help to better
decorate the city at night.
The topic of the
next architectural forum “Kazanysh”, which will be held in December, has been
announced today. Participants will discuss alternative housing and spaces for
young people.
