The Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and the Minister of Education and Science
of Tatarstan Ilsur Khadiullin visited today the new multidisciplinary school
No.11 “Unber” in the Art City residential complex, where traditional conference
of the municipal education workers was held. Before the beginning of the pedagogical
council, the Mayor got acquainted with the educational institution for 1,500 children,
which will open on September 1.
Almaz Khamidullin, director of the multidisciplinary school “Unber”, told
the Mayor of Kazan that students would be able to receive high-quality
education of the international level here. The school will work in four areas –
mathematical, linguistic, chemical-biological and humanitarian.
A special feature of the school will be specially developed mobile
application. It will help students to get additional information, while
teachers and parents will communicate quickly. “This application will have
everything you need: grades, schedules, homework. We will announce different events.
There will even be an opportunity to get acquainted with the menu of a canteen
and leave your feedback”, - A.Khamidullin shared the plans.
The Mayor of the city also met with teachers. Some of the teachers moved to
Kazan from other cities together with their families to work at this school.
“It was our dream to gather the best teachers, but we did not even think
that specialists of this level would work with us”, - the Mayor of Kazan said.
I.Metshin also visited the canteen of the school. As the director of the
Department of Food and Social Nutrition of Kazan Rimma Mukhametshina noted,
this is the largest school canteen in the city. Then I.Metshin examined the
swimming pool, which is designed for sports and recreation activities of schoolchildren.
In addition, I.Metshin was informed about the Immersive School project, in
which children will be able to learn the rules of behavior in dangerous
situations with the help of VR glasses. “This is a good idea, I think, so many
things will be easier to understand and remember. After such a lesson, you will
remember how to act in emergencies for many years. If a fire suddenly happens,
the children will already know how to behave and how to help other people”, -
the Mayor commented.
