In the near future, there will be few changes for the residents of the
Salavat Kupere district– public transport will start running along the
residential complex, and students will be able to get to new education
institutions from the new academic year by school buses. “This is a modern-type
residential area and we will continue to develop it, do everything to ensure
that the appropriate living standards here”, - said Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of
Kazan, during a visit to the residential area.
“Quite recently, in 2014, we laid the foundation of the first house in the
Salavat Kupere district, and today 20 thousand people already live here. Forty-six
houses have already been built, 12 more will be put into operation this year”, -
Ilsur Metshin said. At the same time, the social infrastructure is actively
developing in the district – children's and adult polyclinics, seven
kindergartens and three modern schools have been built, the head of the city reminded.
On September 1, school No.188 “Bionics” will open in the Salavat Kupere,
gymnasium No.189 “Zaman” will be fully operational. In addition, kindergarten
No. 46 “Elmay” for 260 children is being constructed in the district.
The 62nd bus route
will be extended by eight stops
At the request of the residents of the residential area, public transport
will start operating in the Salavat Kupere. Starting from August 25, the scheme
of the bus route No.62 will change – it will connect two blocks of the district.
In total, the length of the route will extend for 2.5 km. As the deputy head of
the Executive Committee Ildar Shakirov reported to the Mayor, today the
installation of bus shelters is being completed in the district.
“Now all the schools and kindergartens of the residential area will be
connected to each other”, - Ildar Shakirov said. Every day, 14 vehicles will
run on the route, the waiting time will be 15 minutes.
School buses will transport
more than 200 students every day
In addition, school buses will start running in the Salavat Kupere residential
area in the new academic year. They will drive students to nearby schools,
including first-graders enrolled in school No. 189 “Zaman” and the new school
No.188 “Bionics”. It is expected that every day the school bus will transport
more than 200 children.
The head of the city instructed to keep this issue under control and to
conduct a separate briefing with parents, bus drivers, as well as with teachers
of schoolchildren. “School buses are not a new issue for us, but in Salavat Kupere
we will use this format of transporting children for the first time. Safety is
very important”, - Ilsur Metshin noted.
