Tatarstan’s president praises new snow removal technology
(KZN.RU, December 28). President Minnikhanov acquainted himself with new snow removal and winter street cleaning technology. He was accompanied by Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and KAMAZ CEO Sergey Kogogin.
The new equipment was supplied by Boshung KAMA located on the KAMAZ territory. KAMAZ specialists spared no effort to adapt the Swiss-made equipment to the KAMAZ truck chassis in accordance with customer requirements and the climatic conditions of Russia.
In total, by the end of the year, the capital of Tatarstan will receive 51 KAMAZ chassis based Boschung snowblowers. Kazan already has seven Snowbuster sweepers and two Pony compact vehicles with winter and summer add-ons. All of this technology was demonstrated to the head of the republic today.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov appreciated the quality of the snowplows and noted that the use of KAMAZ chassis would significantly reduce the operating costs as compared to utilizing foreign-made vehicles. He added that the updating of the snow clearing equipment should continue.
