September 2, Alsu Safina). The theme of the 14th literary and musical festival
“Aksenov-Fest”, which will be held in Kazan from 11 to 15 of September, will be
Aksenov-style. Kazan citizens will learn about the style of the writer Vasily
Aksenov in literature, cinema, music and fashion. Creative master classes and
meetings will be held by friends and colleagues of the writer: musicians,
directors, artists. They will share their views on the artistic heritage of
Vasily Aksenov, said Azat Abzalov, the head of the Department of Culture, at
the Business Monday.
Guests of
the festival will be poets and writers Svetlana Vasilieva, Alisa Ganieva, Guzel
Yakhina, journalist Tatiana Solovieva, publicist and publisher Boris
Kupriyanov, musician, composer Andrey Makarevich, as well as film director
Evgeny Tsymbal, Russian fashion historian Alexander Vasiliev, film actors Ramil
Sabitov and Evgeny Morozov.
On
September 11, creative meetings and discussions are planned on poetry, style
and personality of Vasily Aksyonov, and the young Voronezh writer Vasily
Natsentov presents his book “Moth Summer”.
On
September 12, there, Andrey Makarevich will present his new literary work “The
Ostracons”, and Guzel Yakhina will talk about the adaptation of the novel
“Zuleikha Opens Her Eyes”. In the evening, the pre-premiere screening of one
episode of this film will be held at the cinema of the CLC Lenin. A creative
meeting will be held with the director of the film Ilya Papernov, artists Ramil
Sabitov and Evgeny Morozov who played one of the main roles,
The concert
hall on September 12 will host a creative evening of Russian and French fashion
historian Alexander Vasiliev.
The award
ceremony “Star Ticket” will be held on September 13 at the KRK “Pyramid”.
Poems and
prose will sound in Aksenov Square, where jazzmen and writers will hold their
traditional gathering.

Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, wished the success for the Aksenov-Fest. “We hope
for new names that will receive a Star Ticket.” As once Guzel Yakhina did in
2015, who had just published her novel (Zuleikha Opens Her Eyes – ed.),
