February 20). Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, will
address an annual statement to the Federal Assembly today. It will be announced
in the Gostiny Dvor.
Members are
the Council of the Federation, deputies of the State Duma, members of the
Government, leaders of the Constitutional, Supreme and Arbitration Courts, the
governor's corps, chairmen of legislative assemblies of the subjects of the
Federation, heads of traditional religions, public figures, including heads of
public chambers of regions, heads of major media are among the invited. Rustam
Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, and Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan,
will attend the event.
The
President’s address is a policy document where the head of the country outlines
the main priorities of domestic and foreign policy. New accents are made in
each that depend on the most urgent tasks facing the country.
The live
broadcast will be available on channels “Russia 1”, “Russia 24”, and “Channel
One Russian”. It will start at 12 pm, according to the website of the Kremlin.
The event will be covered by more than 750 accredited journalists.
