20 Kazan educational institutions joined the project “Healthy School”.

The implementation of significant projects aimed at improving the lives of citizens was discussed today at the meeting of the political council of the Kazan local branch of the United Russia party. It took place in the City Hall under the chairmanship of Ilsur Metshin, the secretary of the local branch of the party, the Mayor of the Kazan. 30 members of the local political council out of 35 attended the meeting. The necessary quorum for making a decision was provided.

Opening the meeting, the head of the city noted that the past 2018 was filled with various events that residents will remember for years. One of them was the World Cup. “The enthusiastic reviews of guests visiting Kazan show the increased attractiveness and openness of our city. The city is decorated with landscaped squares, parks, many social programs and projects that improve the life quality of Kazan citizens have been implemented”, noted the Mayor.

In total, 10 federal, 6 regional, and 21 local projects were implemented at the local branch of the party last year. Such federal initiatives as the “City Environment”, “The Elder Generation” and “The Strong Family” have received particular development. Such urban projects as “Good Kazan”, “The Old Kazan” and others are among the most significant ones.

“Most of them are directly aimed at improving the life quality of citizens, cultivating a sense of citizenship and belonging to a common cause”, said Olga Voronova, the head of the Executive Committee of the Kazan local branch of the United Russia party. Last year, the project “Political Leader” was launched, she reminded. For today, 19 bright and ambitious representatives of the city took part in it.

A local party project “Healthy School” aimed at introducing students to a healthy lifestyle has a large educational potential, noted O. Voronova. Today, about 20 Kazan schools have joined it.

In 2018, according to the results of two competitions for the provision of grants, more than 174 million rubles were allocated for the development of 118 projects of non-profit organizations of Tatarstan. More than 60 winning projects are from Kazan.

This year it is planned to work on 18 local party projects instead of 21 ones. Those that are not included in the list of projects have completed their task or have been merged into larger ones, explained the speaker. “We have to work on the development of new projects, such as “Hospitable Kazan”. We will pay attention to the formation of initiative groups of citizens, aimed at making Kazan the most hospitable city in Russia”, said the head of the Executive Committee of the Kazan local branch of the party.

“There is a lot of work ahead, the result of which will depend on our efforts. Only through hard work, sincere attention to the needs of people, and readiness to solve their problems the authority and trust of voters can be earned”, concluded I. Metshin.

The deputies also discussed the work results of the XVIII Congress of the All-Russian political party “United Russia”, the work plan of the faction for the current year, and other organizational issues.
