(KZN.RU, December 3, Ksenia Shvetsova). The project “Good Kazan” crossed the city limits and reached the federal level, uniting the country's leading experts on one platform. The festival “Good Wave” gave children from all over Russia the opportunity to discover their talents and make their dreams come true. Many city initiatives that emerged as part of the project “Good Kazan” will soon be implemented in other cities, said Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, today at the Business Monday.
The previous week had passed under the auspices of “Good Kazan”. The All-Russian two-day forum was held in the capital of Tatarstan, which brought together leaders and representatives of non-profit organizations and charitable foundations from more than 30 regions of Russia, as well as a gala concert of the festival “Good Wave”.
The events were successful and received the highest praise both from the participants and the leadership of the country, noted the head of the city. He reminded that for the first time, President Vladimir Putin addressed his greetings to the participants of the “Good Wave”. “The festival itself, the qualifying stage of which was held in 10 cities of the country, was made possible largely thanks to the support of the President of Russia and the presidential grant|, said I. Metshin. He added that the number of people willing to take part in the festival exceeded all expectations. Thus, residents of cities from all over the Volga region gathered in Kazan. The same large number of participants gathered in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Vladivostok, Sevastopol, Kurs, Novosibirsk, and other cities. “The number of children who have no limitations in talent is huge. When they start singing, telling, playing, it's worth a lot. This is a whole life for them to go on stage and give their talents to people. And it is very important for parents, because every day they accomplish a feat, and seeing your child on the stage is a gift. I am so glad that one of our city projects has reached the federal level”.
The forum “Good Kazan” was attended by Anna Kuznetsova, the Commissioner for Children's Rights of the Russian Federation, and Sergey Novikov, the head of the Presidential Administration for Public Projects. It found a lot of feedback from guests from other cities of the country. At one of the discussions, it was noted that the RT and Kazan are among the leaders in terms of co-financing charitable projects and public initiatives. “The start was hard. Step by step, we went forward, consulting with colleagues and partners who have been doing this important work for a long time in various forms: the development of charity and philanthropy in Kazan. Today, the forum “Good Kazan” has become a federal platform, to which leading experts come, sharing their experience and specific projects”, said the Mayor. Many Kazan projects seemed interesting to the forum participants and, perhaps, they will soon be implemented in other cities. “We talked a lot about the Diary of Good Deeds, which we also started as part of the project “Good Kazan”. Today they want to spread it throughout all over the country”, said I. Metshin. “We started from one good fair at school and then moved to a new level. I thank the leaders, teachers, parents, heads of districts, mass media, everyone who supports us. All this is the way to Good Kazan”.
Last week, the III All-Russian Forum “Good Kazan. Charity: the experience of the regions” took place in Kazan. It was attended by the leaders of non-profit organizations and charitable foundations from across the country. For two days, they discussed ways of developing the activities of non-profit organizations and exchanged experiences. On November 30, the gala concert of the All-Russian Children's Art Festival “Good Wave” was held in the KRK “Pyramid” with the participation of the laureates of the festival and Russian pop stars.
