I.Metshin: "I believe that the festival "Good wave" will cover all Russia, and then will go beyond its territory”

(KZN.RU, November 16, Alina Berezhnaya). On November 30, 130 talented children from all country will perform on the gala-concert of All-Russian festival "Good wave" in Kazan. Today, on November 16, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, told about it on the briefing in the press-centre of the newspaper “Arguments and facts” in Moscow. Igor Krutoy, a composer, the general producer of the festival "Good wave", Stella Khachanyants, the president of the Charitable Foundation "Lifeline", the general director of Igor Krutoy's Academy, and Liudmila Ermolaeva, the press-secretary of the festival "Good wave" took part in the press-conference as well.

Ilsur Metshin: "We understood that the people's hearts were ready"

The festival "Good wave" was created on the initiative of Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, and a composer Igor Krutoy. It is a platform for the joint creativity of all children without limitations of their physical health. Here the pupils of orphanages, children who remained without parents' care, kids from large and deprived families, children with limited opportunities and many others show their creative abilities on the same stage. Not by accident, Kazan is chosen to host the festival the second time. The capital city of Tatarstan pays constant attention to kind and charity, and project “Good Kazan” is one of 12 priorities of the city development. As Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, emphasized on the press-conference, the main value of the city is its people.

The Mayor of Kazan told that the city has some five-year projects; both material, financial and immaterial values are always taken into account during the elaboration of the new plans. "New roads, social objects, parks, squares, parkways, new housing accommodation are based on the financial state. The non-material resources are what is not measured by the money, its amount, but is measured by the best interests of the people with different interests, age, and nationalities", - Ilsur Metshin said and added that the project should be realized initially in Kazan. The idea of the festival was discussed with Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, and a composer Igor Krutoy. "We understood that the people's hearts were ready, but they didn't have any platform, where they could realize their talent with advanced stars and beginners”, - I.Metshin told the history of the festival creation.

Due to support of presidential grant the festival "Good wave" stepped beyond the Kazan territory this year, children from 10 country regions took part in the regional phases. “I want to thank all who assists this festival. Once again thanks to Igor Krutoy and his team, and all the cities, where the selective competitions are taking place now, and all the not indifferent people, too“, - I.Metshin said. He expressed confidence that the festival could become international. “There are no barriers and distinctions for kind people“, - Kazan Mayor summarized.

Stella Khachanyants: "To choose winners was extremely difficult"

We will remind, all the tours have been started since June 6 in Kazan. The project united 105 participants not only from the capital city of Tatarstan, but also from neighboring cities for two days. 130 winners were defined based on the results of the regional tours. The talented kids from all the country will arrive to Kazan on November 26, they are waited for the meeting with the famous actors, workshops and creative evenings. According to words of Stella Khachanyants, to choose winners was extremely difficult.

"The winners are entirely unique children with different future and diagnoses. And when they sang and played the instruments - it was very exciting. Overcoming all the difficulties, they came on the stage. It was so sincerely, warmly and heartily. They are unique. So, one of the winners played on the piano despite his blindness", - Stella Khachanyants noted. Also Igor Krutoy told that among the participants there were many children who would be able to realize themselves, as the real artists, in the future.

Igor Krutoy: “Nature abhors a vacuum”

“If some physical illness exists, then nature abhors a vacuum. It is demonstrated in other things, in genius - music, poetry, essays. If they have a talent, a genius, it is very important to see it. We will watch the events and look for the genius kids“, - Igor Krutoy noticed.

The festival "Good wave" is not a platform for the realization of creative abilities, it has an opportunity to get support from the not indifferent people. So, one of the festival organizers is the Charitable Foundation "Lifeline". Now the fund assists with Maxim Sorokin's rehabilitation, one of the winners of the selective festival tour.

The grand final of the festival will be held on November 30 in Kazan. The winners of the regional tours of "Good wave" will perform with the famous Russian pop stars, such as Philipp Kirkorov, Sergei Lazarev and Dina Garipova, on the gala-concert in the CIC “Pyramid”.
