Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, takes part in the Congress of Local Authorities of Eurasia
(KZN.RU, October 5). Today the Congress of Local Authorities of Eurasia “Towards the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals” is held in Cheboksary. During the event, Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, will hold a plenary session with colleagues from other cities. The meeting participants will exchange experience in the implementation of sustainable development goals in various areas of citizens' lives.
In addition, I. Metshin will take part in the General Assembly of the Eurasian branch of the UCLG and the general meeting of the Association of Cities of the Volga region, which will also be held today in the capital of the Chuvash Republic.
The Mayor of Kazan is the President of the Eurasian regional office of the World Organization “United Cities and Local Government” and the chairman of the Association of Cities of the Volga Region.
