I. Metshin inspected the territory of the kindergarten “Smart Kids” and the primary school “Lyceum-Engineering Center”

After the improvement, the territory of the kindergarten “Smart Kids” and the primary intellectual and linguistic school ILS ХХIc +, which are part of the Lyceum-Engineering Center, was transformed beyond recognition. The game, sports zones, new flower alleys, small architectural forms, and even a giant hedgehog appeared there. Today Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, has visited the site.

The idea of landscaping the territory of educational institutions arose after the completion of the overhaul of a two-storey building of 1978 at AdelaKutuy, №86/1. The kindergarten “Smart Kids” is located there. Thanks to the sponsorship and support of the parents, it was possible to implement this. Last year new small architectural forms, a tactile path, a sundial, a lawn and various elements of landscape design, connecting simultaneously decorative, cognitive and teaching functions were installed near the kindergarten.

Children take pictures with a huge green hedgehog with great enthusiasm. The mound is designed to disguise and enrich the tank for fire needs. Leisan Schleifer, the director of the company “Neolit-Design” was engaged in the development of the project and landscaping, She said that the environment for the physical and intellectual development of children and their aesthetic education have been created during the works.

Venera Khairutdinova, the director of the Lyceum-Engineering Center noted that both the kids and their parents liked such a bright and interesting area where children can play, develop, study numbers and letters.

This year the territory of the school where the primary school students are trained has been landscaped. There is a zone for creativity, a linguistic zone, flower gardens and bushes were planted. Two playgrounds are organized, pupils can play mini golf, hopscotsh, and twister.

The way the territory of the kindergarten and the school looks after the transformation has been considered an example, believes the Mayor of Kazan. “The playground shows a lot. We now do many kindergartens on the republican program. But how it should be done is embodied here”, said Ilsur Metshin.

The head of the city expressed gratitude to the director of the lyceum, sponsors, and parents. Together, they managed to implement the project of landscape design. “This is the case when, apart from the means of the budget, a great part was taken by concerned parents. They deserve a separate word of gratitude both for their contribution and for their love for children”, said the Mayor.

After that, the guests inspected the renovated school cafeteria. After re-planning, its area grew from 50 square meters to 112 square meters, which allowed increasing the number of seats.

Andrey Yakovlev, the first deputy head of Sovetsky district’s administration, Elmira Takhavieva, the deputy head of the Department of Education, Marat Aizatullin, the director of the Main Investment and Construction Administration of the RT, and others also took part in the inspection.
