The kindergarten “Navruz” for 340 children was opened in the RC “Vesna”

(KZN.RU, June 8, Irina Smirnova). The kindergarten “Navruz” for 340 children was opened today in the Sovetsky district of Kazan, in the residential complex “Vesna” on Tabeev Street, №6. The honorable guests of the holiday in the kindergarten №159 were Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT, and Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan.

The head of the republic congratulated the children, parents and the staff of the pre-school institution on the long-awaited event. “I sincerely congratulate you on the opening of the kindergarten today. It is very important that children have all the opportunities for their development. And I hope that the team that will work in this kindergarten will make sure that our children are competitive”, said R. Minnikhanov and thanked the builders for the implementation of the project. The President of the RT also presented a gift certificate to the kindergarten for the purchase of additional equipment.

The modern 3-storey building meets all sanitary and educational requirements. There are music and gyms, an office for creative pursuits, a sensory room, a polylingual study (where children will study Tatar, Russian and English), a methodical room, and a medical unit, a food unit, and laundry. The territory around the kindergarten is landscaped, there is a sports and playground.

Construction of the kindergarten began in March 2017 under the federal target program “Housing”. The customer of the construction was the OOO “SK UnistroyDom”, the general contractor was the OOO “Volgodorstroy”. The total area of the 3-storey building is 6447.5 square meters.

Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, also addressed the audience. “I heartily congratulate you on the opening of the kindergarten. I want on behalf of you, dear parents, to thank our President for the care of children. This is not the first kindergarten, not the first school we open. Much is being done in our republic for our children”, said the Mayor.

Airat Minnullin, the general director of the OOO “Vologdorstroy”, gave the symbolic key for the kindergarten to Laysan Gaffarova, the head of the preschool institution, and wished the kindergarten prosperity. She thanked the leadership of the republic, the city and builders "for a spacious, beautiful, bright kindergarten”.

The guests inspected the premises of the kindergarten, attended the classes that took place for the kids at that moment in the pre-school establishment.

Priority areas of the pre-school educational institution will be physical development and artistic and aesthetic education. Pupils will have lessons on modern forms of children's fitness (stretching gymnastics, step aerobics, logo-aerobics, and fit-ball), children will be able to attend classes in karate, football, yoga. Aesthetic development will give lessons on music, rhythm, theatrical art, choreography, folklore. Educators will pay attention to the ecological education of children and preparation for school. A psychologist and speech therapist work in a preschool institution. 17 groups will function in the kindergarten.

Rafis Burganov, the Minister of Education and Science of the RT, Rustem Gafarov, the head of the Sovetsky district administration, Ilnar Khidiyatov, the head of the Department of Education, and others also attended the event.

Currently, the pre-school education program is implemented in 321 organizations. More than 69 thousand children are enrolled there. In the new 2018-2019 school year, the city's educational institutions will receive 17519 new preschool children.

As of June 8, 15581 children were sent to kindergartens through the AIS Electronic Kindergarten. All three-year-old children are offered places in preschool educational institutions of the city.
