(KZN.RU, May 26, Ksenia Shvetsova)., this weekend there is a large-scale charity fair “Yardem Bazaar” in the Gorky Park in Kazan. 40 designers, craftsmen, representatives of shops, showrooms, and restaurateurs take part in it. They will send from 20 to 100% of their proceeds to charitable purposes, as well as to the funds of the city. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, visited the fair. He talked to the market participants and thanked them for their active position.
“Yardem Bazaar” is held in Kazan for the second year in a row. This year, 7 charitable funds joined the fair, such as Alpari, “Children's Houses”, “Trumplin”, “Ronald McDonald's House”, “Good Deeds”, and “Zvezda”.
The charity bazaar opened on the park lawn, the trading rows lined up on either side of the stage. Tomorrow Klava Koka, the star of the team “Black star”, will start the stage of the project “Green Fitness” and hold a training session with the Kazan team.
The goods presented at the fair are in demand. Souvenirs, handmade jewelry, toys, books, clothes, various crafts, sweets, and much more are among the purchases.
According to Diana Schmidt, the organizer of the fair, the good tradition to make the charity bazaar each year was born thanks to the children and school fairs. “We are very pleased that this initiative has developed and today continues to help to do good thanks to the project “Good Kazan”.
“I am very pleased that the percentage that companies give to charity is increasing at each fair and the number of participants is growing”, said D. Schmidt.
The “Yardem Bazaar” is an opportunity for many start-ups to introduce as many residents and visitors as possible to their products. This year Alisa Kuznetsova takes part in the fair, she represents the newly established company that produces bio-ice-cream. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of the city, was interested in an unusual product. The uniqueness of the ice-cream is that it is completely natural and contains prebiotics. I. Metshin inquired whether the unusual ice-cream contains sugar. “We have a large selection of dietary ice-cream that does not contain sugar. We’re just introducing the citizens to our products”, answered A. Kuznetsova.
Also, the Mayor drew attention to the variety of goods presented by charitable funds. Elvira Osokina, the head of the charitable fund “Tramplin”, told the head of the city that all the paintings and products presented by the fund were made by children in the course of treatment.
Natalia Gilazeva, the head of the fund “Alpari”, who regularly participates in city fairs, said that all products are made by parents and their special children with different diagnoses. Last time on the fair organized by the fund, they managed to collect about 39 thousand rubles. All these funds are invaluable assistance to families with special children. I. Metshin made a contribution to the fund and thanked his representatives for their activity and help to the citizens.
A food court is organized for visitors of the fair, which serves dishes from 21 restaurants and cafes of the city. The entertaining program of the market includes lectures, master classes from make-up artists, florists, artists, and even dentists.
On May 27, the “Yardem Bazaar” will be open from 10 am to 9 pm. Guests can attend entertainments, a concert, games, master classes, and training within the framework of the Green Fitness project with Klava Koka, which will be held from 12 pm to 2 pm. The market will end with live music from 6.30 pm to 8 pm.
After visiting the fair, Alsu Saetova, the director of the MBU “Directorate of Parks and Squares of Kazan”, told the Mayor about the concept of non-stationary trade organization \ in the park.
Damir Fattakhov, the first deputy head of the Executive Committee, and Andrey Lobov, the head of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts’ administration, also took part in the event.
