(KZN.RU, May 14). Today the reception
of applications for the All-Russian Cultural and Charitable Festival of
Children's Creativity “Good Wave” has begun. Airat Faizov, the chairman of the
Committee on Children and Youth Affairs, opened the application campaign at
the Business Monday.
The first gala concert-presentation
of the festival “Good Wave” was held in Kazan on November 30 last year. Then,
children with disabilities, pupils of the Igor Krutoy’s Academy of Popular
Music from different regions of the country, and artists of the Russian stage Vladimir
Presnyakov, Natalya Podolskaya, Anita Tsoy, and others performed on the same
stage.
Airat Faizov said that this
year the festival will become an all-Russian movement and will cover 9 cities
of Russia. Its participants will be talented children aged 9 to 16 years.
Regional selections will be held in Kazan, Moscow, St. Petersburg,
Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok, Sevastopol, Krasnodar, and Kursk.
Winners will be chosen in such areas as music (vocal, gesture singing, playing
the instrument), choreography, stage art (original genre, reading).

festival will be held in Kazan on June 5. “The joint project of the Kazan City
Hall and the Igor Krutoy’s Academy of Popular Music will become a platform for
children's creativity, regardless of their physical health”, said the chairman
of the Committee for Children and Youth Affairs.
The festival will host
thematic creative and charitable events throughout the country. The gala
concert of the festival will be held on November 30 in Kazan.
“We wish you luck in the “Good
Wave”. The festival is gaining momentum. We hope that it will become a
permanent platform for the realization of children from different regions”, said
Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan. He marked that the project that started last
year aroused great interest in different cities of the country. The head of the
city expressed his confidence that the project will become larger and permanent.
The start of applications
was on May 14, on the first day of the Decade of Good. Within 10 days, there
will be lessons of good in the city schools, “Fair of Good” will be organized in
the parks. In addition, the charitable market “Yardem Bazar” will join the Decade
of Good. A charity race is among the events that will be held these days in
Kazan. All proceeds from it will go to the construction of a second hospice in
Kazan. Also, there will be a fashion show for the elderly “Podium of mature
beauty”. The Republican Blood Center will host the city's donor day. In
addition, the results of the municipal project “Diary of Good Deeds” will be
summed up. Entrepreneurs will also join the Decade of Good.

systematically work in this direction”, believes Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of

The head of the city
supported the project of corporate social volunteering, which started on the
eve of the Victory Day. Airat Faizov said that city organizations will take
care of veterans, rear workers or children of the war from among single elderly
people on social security within the framework of the project. Within a year,
representatives of companies will be able to systematically help the needy,

volunteering”, said Ilsur Metshin. “It is sometimes difficult for an individual
to deal with these issues on an ongoing basis. If this is done by enterprises
or organizations, then this work should be on an ongoing basis. I am glad that
the business from individual stocks goes to system work. We will support them
in this direction as well”.
