(KZN.RU,
May 8, Ksenia Shvetsova). Today, Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the RT,
and Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, received a fan-id in the issuance center
on the Kremlin embankment. They passed the standard procedure for football fans
and received a document necessary for access to the Kazan Arena during the FIFA
World Cup-2018 matches.
The fan-id
is a personalized map of the spectator of the match, which gives an opportunity
for unimpeded access to the stadium during the World Cup matches and allows
foreigners to visit Russia during the championship without a visa. In addition,
the fan-id provides an opportunity for free travel on public transport during
match days and free movement on trains between cities hosting the World Cup.
The fan-id
issuance center has been operating in Kazan since December 7. There are two
such centers in the capital of Tatarstan: in the GTRK “Rodina” on Bauman
Street, №44/8, and at the Kremlin embankment, №9. From June, an additional
center will be opened on Chetaev Street, №10. A record number of guests and
fans from all over the world is expected to come in Kazan. Consequently, tents will
be opened at the stadium “Kazan Arena” two weeks before the start of the World
Cup, where the fans can also get a fan-id.
Roksana
Galieva, the regional head of the issuance center of a fan-id in Kazan, said
that in order to obtain a fan-id, it is necessary to pass a preliminary
registration. “You need to take the passport of a citizen with you or a child's
birth certificate for children under 14 years old”, explained R. Galieva. “If a
person comes to the primary registration, it is also necessary to have a ticket
with him. The document is issued if there is a passport and the application
number, which will be assigned after registration in our system”. Viewers can
go through the initial registration on the website https://www.fan-id.ru/, and
come for the document already with the application number.
After
receiving the fan-id, Rustam Minnikhanov and Ilsur Metshin walked along the
embankment and talked with the residents of the city. Asgat Safarov, the head
of the Presidential Administration of the RT, Vladimir Leonov, the minister of
Youth Affairs and Sports, Roman Shaikhutdinov, the minister of Informatization
and Communication, and others have inspected the issuing process of fan-id
together with them.
The World
Cup will be held from June 14 to July 15. Kazan will host six matches of the
group stage, 1/8 and 1/4 of the finals.
