The repair of roads near the RC “Symphony” is planned in Kazan in 2018

(KZN.RU, February 20, Ekaterina Vislavskaya). The roads on streets Botanicheskaya and Rotornaya are included in the overhaul plan in 2018. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, announced this when answering the questions of residents of Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts. The head of the city told about the plans to repair 430 yards of Kazan and supported the offer of the residents to equip an open playground on Baki Urmanche Street.

The traditional reports of the Mayor to residents on the results of the work of city services in 2017 continue. Today Ilsur Metshin met with the directors of large enterprises, employees of hospitals and polyclinics, law enforcement agencies, rectors of universities, heads of schools, kindergartens, and sports institutions in the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts of Kazan. The meeting took place in the concert hall of the Tatar State Philharmonia named after G. Tukay.

“340 thousand people unite Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts. This is comparable in number to some regional centers of Russia. Here are the scientific and educational potential, the best universities and schools, enterprises, including the defense complex, chemistry, and petrochemistry. Traditionally, the center of the city had a special responsibility in the capital of Tatarstan”, said the Mayor of Kazan. “I think if a resident of the districts compares the current situation with what it was like 10-12 years ago, then, of course, he will see tremendous progress. These are renewed parks, restored historical buildings, repair of roads, pavements on the sidewalks, most of the debris advertising structures that have gone to waste, and much more”.

The head of the city especially noted ecological projects and landscaping of green areas. He reminded that the parks Uritsky, “Krylya Sovetov”, “Chernoe Ozero”, Gorkinsko-Ometyevsky forest, Pobedy Park, the park along the Sytrlanova Street have been landscaped thanks to the decision of the President of the RT. Also, two completely dried out lakes Bolshoe and Svetloe Lebyazhie were renewed. “In total, 60 Kazan parks and squares are landscaped since 2013, and this work will be continued”, said Ilsur Metshin.

Afterwards, he answered the questions of Kazan citizens. Svetlana Nasybullina, the director of the secondary school №42, proposed to create a public garden on Gabichev Street. “It's great that the program will be continued. But there are a lot of houses near the Gabishev Street, and I would like to see there was some public garden or recreation area”, she said. I. Metshin reminded that the objects for improvement are chosen in the way so that the new recreation area covered the maximum number of local residents. “We will come to Gabishev Street. Let's live and believe that the economy will work even better and we will definitely get to small parks and squares”, he promised.

Damir Imangulov, the chairman of the TSG “Vostochny”, was interested in the construction of a new bridge over Noksa River. According to I. Metshin, this issue is already being resolved. The project works are underway, the sources of financing will be considered after their completion. “We have allocated funds for the project, we will include it in the republican program after completion and seek the construction of a bridge crossing”, he explained.

Rifat Khidiyatullin, the director of the secondary school №88, asked whether there are plans to repair streets Rotornaya and Botanicheskaya.

The Mayor said that both roads were included in the work program this year. “Yes, this site is not in good condition, construction work was conducted there. We included these roads in the program. They will be fixed”, said Andrey Lobov, the head of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts’ administration.

Zulfiya Gaptulkhakova, the director of kindergarten №17, asked to arrange the improvement of the yards along Mavlyutov Street near the houses №24, 26, 28, 30, and 32. I. Metshin reminded that 430 yards are planned to be renovated in Kazan in 2018. “First we did the yards where one run covers 5-6 yards so that as many people as possible can see the improvements. For today, 60% of the yards that need overhaul have been repaired”, he explained.

A. Lobov added that landscaping is being done progressively from one yard to another. The yard on Mavlyutov Street is included in the list of yard territories, which will be updated this year under the overhaul program.

Riat Khabibrakhmanov, the director of the Kazan cadet boarding school, has asked to construct a football field for the children living in the RC “Solnechny Gorod”. I. Metshin reminded that the infrastructure of schools should be accessible to local residents and it is necessary to establish common rules for them. “We will come and invite you, you show us the place where we are equipping this football field with lighting so that children don’t run across the road and play on their side”, said the Mayor.

As a result of previous meetings with Kazan citizens, Ilsur Metshin made several inspection visits to problem points. He visited the “phantom house” on Khalezov Street, №21, inspected the sewage pumping station in Boevaya Street and visited the house №4 on Pravda Street to assess the quality of overhaul and the condition of the yard. The decision was found for each of the objects together with the residents and the necessary instructions were given.

Igor Kulyazhev, the deputy head of the Kazan Executive Committee and the chairman of the Committee of External Improvement, Iskander Giniyatullin, the deputy head of the Kazan Executive Committee and the chairman of the Housing and Communal Services Committee, Aidar Abdulkhakov, the chairman of the Committee of Transport, and others also took part in the event.
