Ilsur Metshin congratulated the young spectators of the Christmas tree in the Kazan City Hall on the upcoming New Year
(KZN.RU, December 26, Mikhail Chentsov). More than 1000 Kazan children will be able to visit for free the Masquerade Ball “New Adventures of the Nutcracker”, which takes place on New Year's Eve in the City Hall. On behalf of the Mayor of Kazan, gifted children, disabled children and children from low-income families are invited to the show. Ilsur Metshin visited one of the performances and congratulated the children on the upcoming holiday.
“It is a great pleasure for me to congratulate you on the coming New Year and to wish you a good health, that you will please us, your parents and grandparents with your successes”, Ilsur Metshin greeted the young spectators, then addressed to adults. “Dear parents, I want to thank all the citizens of Kazan in your person for the creative 2017year. We worked each in right place, doing everything to make Kazan more beautiful and comfortable. That our children had every opportunity to develop their talents in this wonderful city. So that they would study well, be innocent and real, and believe in the miracle. That Ded Moroz and the Snow Maiden will come to make all their dreams come true. I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart”, said the Mayor.
The New Year's ball-masquerade, based on the famous work “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King” to the magnificent music by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, carried guests to the fairy tale. For two centuries now, this story tells of the fearless Nutcracker, a valiant victory over the mouse king, friendship, and boundless faith in a miracle.
Gulnara Mukhamedgaleeva with her daughter Kamila were among those who attended the performance by the invitation of the Mayor of Kazan. As the woman said, they became guests of the City Hall for the first time. “It is very beautiful in here. I liked the ball-masquerade very much, I would like to see more such performances”, she said.
Many came to see the “Nutcracker” on their own. “The play was pleasant because it is bright and beautiful. I feel the atmosphere of the New Year”, little Mira Tetruashvili, who came with her mother Natalia, shared her impressions.
