Ilsur Metshin wished the Consul General of Turkey in Kazan good luck in a new place

(KZN.RU, December 22, Mikhail Chentsov). Today Ilsur Metshin, the head of the Tatarstan’s capital, met with the Consul General of Turkey in Kazan. The meeting was held as part of the diplomatic mission completion of the Consul General in the capital of the RT and his transition to a new post. Turhan Dilmach will continue his career in Turkey.

Ilsur Metshin greeted the guest and noted that the relations between Russia and Turkey were tested for strength for the years spent by the Consul General in Kazan. “We experienced a difficult moment but everything is over. Thank God, we kept friendship at that time, and everything turned out well in the end”, said the Mayor.

Turhan Dilmach informed Ilsur Metshin about his new appointment and shared his impressions of the Tatarstan’s capital. “I worked in Kazan for 3 years and 3 months. Thank you for your joint work during these years. It is very important for us. Kazan is one of the most beautiful cities not only in Russia but also in Europe. This is a fact for me. The capital of Tatarstan is known in other cities and countries”, he noted.

The Mayor of Kazan thanked the Consul General for his work and wished him luck in his new place. “We will monitor your progress. We are always glad to see you, your family and friends in Kazan, in Tatarstan. Now we have another ambassador in your person who will talk about the republic and its capital”, said the Mayor and expressed the hope that the cooperation between Russia and Turkey will continue.

Evgenia Lodvigova, the deputy head of the Kazan Municipality, also took part in the meeting, which was held at the City Hall.

From September 11, 2014, to the present – Consul General of Turkey in Kazan.

He is married and has two children.
