Tatarstan to all 5654 apartment buildings and 800 social institutions (197
educational institutions, 356 kindergartens, 125 hospitals and polyclinics, 11
children's boarding schools, cultural and sports institutions, and other
facilities). In comparison with 2016, the number of calls to the hotline of the
Housing and Communal Services in the system “Open Kazan” decreased by 40% or 2
thousand. Iskander Giniyatullin, the deputy head of the Executive Committee and
the chairman of the Committee for Housing and Communal Services, reported this
during a traditional staff meeting at the City Hall.
As the
speaker noted, 95% of consumers were provided with the heating during the first
7 days of the heating season from September 25 to October 1. “Since the
beginning of the mass heating supply, the last house on Chapaev Street, №13,
was connected on the night from Thursday to Friday last week”, he said.
Ilsur
Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, thanked the heat supplying organizations, the
management companies the heads of the districts and the committee for the
quality work. “People remember about the heating only when there is no one. In
order to have fewer complaints, we set the task to reduce the number of
applications during the launch of the heating. The heating should be provided
before the people complain, air jams should be removed as soon as possible, and
you should react to citizens' appeals fast. And the 40% of reduction is a
worthy result”, the Mayor shared his opinion.
“It is
important to ensure operation without trouble so that, finishing the heating
season, we could present the same good results in this hall as in its
preparation”, summed up Ilsur Metshin.
