Ildar Shakirov was appointed the deputy head of the Kazan Executive Committee

(KZN.RU, September 8, Anton Nozdrin). Ildar Shakirov was appointed the deputy head of the Kazan Executive Committee. Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, reported on personnel changes today at the meeting. Before the appointment, Ildar Shakirov held the post of the first deputy head of the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts’ administration of the city.

The Mayor announced the directions that the new deputy head will supervise. According to him, this is an economic block, trade issues, the Transport Committee, and the Office of Administrative and Technical Inspection.

The head of the city said that much attention is paid to the development of small and medium-sized businesses. “We can move forward in this direction. We need to adopt the best Russian and world experience for this, invent something new, create conditions only in a dialogue with the business community”, said the Mayor. According to him, it will be difficult but possible to do compare to the previous achievements that were reached by the capital of Tatarstan.

Ilsur Metshin noted that I. Shakirov has been working in the executive authorities of the city for more than 10 years. The Mayor reminded the audience that the new deputy head began his career in the Committee for Land and Property Relations, then worked in the city districts’ administrations, and then moved on to the Committee for Economic Development. “The main stage of Ildar Shakirov’s work in the Committee for Economic Development was the development of the Strategy of Social and Economic Development of Kazan until 2030. After that, he moved to the Vakhitovsky and Privolzhsky districts’ administration. This is an important practice. The work “on field” has its own specifics. By communicating with the population, entrepreneurs every day, you get the experience that cannot be replaced”, noted Ilsur Metshin.

The Mayor of Kazan marked that I. Shakirov has the necessary experience and support of the Executive Committee staff to perform all tasks and wished the new deputy leader success in his new place.

Ildar Shakirov was born on April 7, 1984 in Buinsk of the Republic of Tatarstan. In 2006, he graduated from Kazan State University named after Ulyanov-Lenin in the specialty ‘manager”, in 2009 – in the specialty “lawyer”. On October 17, 2016 he was awarded a class rank “municipal councilor of 1 class”.

He was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Kazan Executive Committee (2013), the commemorative medal of the “XXVII World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan” (2013), the commemorative medal “XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games of 2014 in Sochi” (2014), the commemorative medal “XVI World Championship in Water Sports 2015 in Kazan” (2015).
