Early urban transport routes will be organized in Kazan on the Kurban Bayram
(KZN.RU, August 28, Mikhail Chentsov). Public transport routes passing through mosques will begin work at 3.30 am in Kazan on the day of Kurban Bayram (Eid al-Adha). Ilnur Shakirov, the head of the Department for Language Development and Interaction with Public Organizations of the Executive Committee, reported this during the Business Monday in the City Hall of the capital of the RT.
It will be possible to get to the places of animals sacrifice in the morning by buses № 1, 2, 5, 6, 10, 10a, 15, 23, 29, 30, 31, 35, 35a, 37, 47, 53, 54, 56, 63, 68, 74, 74a, 75, and 91 and trolleybuses № 1, 2, and12. Transportation of citizens will be carried out in accordance with the approved intervals of traffic on weekends.
As I. Shakirov noted, the holiday namaz will be read at 4.30 am from a sermon in the mosques of Kazan. The ceremony of a slaughter of sacrificial animals will take place within three days from September 1 to 3 in 20 prepared places. “The city's services organize work to prevent unauthorized places of trade in sacrificial animals and their slaughter in unidentified places”, said the speaker.
Ilsur Metshin, the Mayor of Kazan, marked that the most important thing on the holiday is a clear organization. “Transport and safety are the two main issues that we have already discussed at the last anti-terrorist commission, so I ask you to strictly implement all the tasks that have been set”, instructed the Mayor.
One of the main holidays in Islam comes on September 1, Kurban-Bayram. It means the date of the end of the Hajj and is celebrated 70 days after the holiday of the Eid al-Fitr.
